Make The World Go Away Duet
“Make The World Go Away” was written 1963 by Hank Cochran and has been recorded by many popular singers. The one I remember from that time is Eddie Arnold, although apparently Ray Price introduced the song.
This arrangement is sort of a reduction of Arnold’s version, with a few embellishments of my own. It is notated as “pop swing” -- eighth notes are played more with an eighth-note triplet feel. The best way to describe it is to listen to it. Try to mimic the feel that you hear. If you would like to see the lyrics or the chords, you can use Composer commands to display them: for lyrics use qsl; for chords use qscn. Ralph R. Rayner |
