I keep getting an "old" download file showing up when I use my update download link for my Notation Software product. How do I clear my browser cache so I can get the most up-to-date download?

Many browsers try to be "helpful" when you use a download link that you have used previously.  They may have a previously downloaded file in the "cache" that it will show you, instead of downloading a new file.  The browser does this because it saves time, but you don't want the old file, you want the new one!

What to do?
You can clear your cache so that the browser will download the "fresh" file, or you can use a different browser.

Clearing the browser's cache can look a little different for different browsers.  There is a nice page that gives you options for some different browsers at https://www.refreshyourcache.com/en/home/ Some of these are out of date, but the location of the "clear the cache" is pretty much the same in newer versions of the browsers.  Alternatively you can visit the home page of the browser and look for help there.
