Hello NotationUser,
I was able to reproduce the bug about recording into a one-line drum staff. And I was able to fix it quickly. The fix for this bug will be in version 2.6.3, which will be released probably within 7 to 10 days. Thanks for this excellent bug report! It is a model for how a good bug report can help the developer (me) quickly understand the problem and fix it, rather than spending a lot of time trying to just understand and reproduce the problem.
