Something nice and gentle

Hi, all:

I'm working on a new musical for production in April 2019. It's based on a couple of short works by Mark Twain and it's called "The Diaries of Adam & Eve". I just wrote this number yesterday and I thought I'd share it.

It's from the middle of Act One. Adam cannot understand Eve at all -- he thinks she's a flighty, pushy idiot, but still, there's something about her that he can't quite get out of his head.

Having decided to move as far away as possible, he sits at the side of the great waterfall (which Eve has named Niagara because, she says, it "looks" like a Niagara), he tries to sort out his feelings.

Nothing ground-breaking here; just a nice, simple song.

Oh, and I did use the Band-In-A-Box plugin for some of the rhythms.

I downloaded your song; how nice to listen to. You mentioned in your post about being "simple" and at times the simple songs can be the best. You also mentioned the word "enjoy", and every time I play it I enjoy!. I have it on my machine's desktop and listen to it every now and then. Thanks for sharing.
