Hello, Yves:
You should be able to select different chord transcription styles in the Chord Name Transcription dialogue box. (Format/Transcribe Chord Names) On the right side of the box, there is a section labelled Detect Type of Chords. There is a drop-down box there that lets you choose from a number of styles, from Easy to Jazz, etc. It also helps if you reduce the number for staves that you select (in the Chord Analysis section). If there are a lot of staves, then the addition of passing notes and so on adds to the complication of the chords. Often, just the basic piano and bass are best. Hope that helps. David |
