Default Re: Old midi devices

Hi,

To set the default MIDI device to a different device, you can use Setup/MIDI Device Configuration (the big dialog). Then right-click on the device that you want to use as the default, and select "Set as default playback device." You can then exit the dialog box, and your change will be saved.

After that change, then any new .mid files that you open will automatically use the new default MIDI device.

The only time the "Edit properties of the old default MIDI device" will come up is if you have .not files saved with a different MIDI device setup than what is currently available in your MIDI Device Configuration.

Happy New Year!
Sherry
