part measure at end without repeat
I'm trying to create a printed copy of a hymn tune. It's basically in 4/4, and it begins and ends with a half bar (however long you make the final note).
I've done the opening half bar OK. I've created the final half bar - but I can't get the (nominal) 2/4 meter (time signature) to hide. I think I'm doing it right (please see attached dump, which is just before I click 'OK')- but the time signature doesn't go away. Ian G. |

Here it is, Sherry.
(It's also being a bit contrary in one or two places where the tenor and bass are in unison and I'd like there to be up and down tails. I understand (I think) about UV and LV, but it doesn't always take. Sometimes which you put in first seems to make a difference, sometimes not.) Howdy Ian,

Howdy Ian,
Thanks for including the file. Yes there is a problem with hiding the meter in that last measure that has a different meter than the previous measures (this is a known problem). You can work around it by changing the barline that precedes it to a dashed barline rather than a solid barline. I know this isn't optimum, and I've bumped up the priority of this bug fix. ttfn, Sherry task 1961 Last edited by Sherry C; 04-04-2011 at 01:46 AM. |
