Default Down by the Riverside Duet

"Down by the Riverside" - I could not find the composer for this song - You Tube has a video for it by the "Four Lads", but that was all I could find. My childhood memories suggest that it was popular during the 1950s. This song is not to be confused with the spiritual that includes "I'm gonna lay down my sword and shield".

At any rate, it's a fun song to play. In a break with my usual, there are some lyrics in the Alto part. In measures 3-8 the Alto part plays "Way down" in response to the Soprano part playing "Down by the Riverside". Also, in measures 26-27, the Alto echos the Soprano's "I hardly know your name" with "Hardly know your name" - both very integral parts of the pop song.

If you would like to see the lyrics or the chords, you can use Composer commands to display them: for lyrics use qsl; for chords use qscn.
