Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you liked the percussion. Your paragraph about the drums/bass dynamic was actually exactly what I was going for, and to be honest I'm quite surprised by how perfectly you nailed the concept.

Yeah, the hiccup is due to my computer's poor RAM. ^^

Glad you liked the ending - I decided to extend the minimalist approach to the very end. ^_^

I'd like to extend this to maybe a full-scale jazz quartet concerto, though I'll probably save this endeavor for when I get some more jazz-oriented compositional ideas.
