Which version of Composer or Musician are you using? Chord name export was introduced in version 3 somewhere around the middle (eg. 3.0.6 I think), and so if you are using an older version...

Import the attached MIDI file into Yamaha MOX or MuseScore 3 and it comes up in the correct key of B Major. Import it into Composer 3 and it comes up in the Key of F# Major. Why?

I suspect that what you're hearing may be due to a MIDI cc in the file, not the synth itself.

The notation that is shown is really the "working MIDI" pseudo-pitches that represent each drum/percussion instrument. Composer does not currently have a standard 5-line drum kit notation...
