Hi Ralph,
As always I appreciate not only the duet arrangements, but the scoring for phrasing as well of your pieces. I love some of the old hymns, and am snagging these for my collection :)

Re: SATB score writing
Hi Tim,
I do that when I absolutely have to...but it's then impossible to separate one voice from the other or turn it back into single voice.
Gack - that's a bug. The intent is to be able to...

Re: SATB score writing

Re: And for Our American Cousin(s)

I shouldn't have multiple tabs open at the same time and start answering in different ones :)
I like the interplay of the two songs as you have it here - that should be a lot of fun...

Hi David,
And bonus points to anyone who gets the reference in the title of this thread.
It was the play that Abe Lincoln attended when he was shot.

Re: how to print a series of bars?
Hi,
Not explicitly, but there are ways to do it.
You could (1) select those measures (2) use File/New from clipboard to create a short song file with just those measures.
Alternatively you...

Re: arpeggio displays as notes
Hi,
Thanks for attaching the file. This seems to have revealed a bug related to the notes being of a particular "voice". The notes of the first chord in the bass line are all lower voice.
If...

To arpeggiate a chord:
If you're adding the notes to the score, then add them first :)
In Notes, Rests click on the Ornaments palette, then the Arpeggio button you want to use (there...

Re: How to remove all but drum
Hi,
The free Notation Player does not have the staff controls needed to mute instruments. You would need Notation Musician (www.notation.com/NotationMusician.php) at least to do that.

Re: Shrinking Large Score Font
Hi Ralph,
Then it must be the "Instrument Names" font size that is at issue - it is still set at 5.6 in your file. (see step 3 in my steps below)
Please take a look at Format/Font Styles, and...

You can use Staff/Setup, and delete all the "Acoustic Grand...
