Hi,

I can't seem to find (if there is one) any way to change the position of the automatically generated measure numbers in relation to the staff. In my music, the numbers seem just too close to the staff braces at the beginning of a system, and I'd like to move them up (or perhaps even down, below the system).

Is there some way to do this? I can't find anything in the help or forums regarding this (although I have not been exhaustive in my delvings).

Thanks,
Andy

Howdy Andy,

I do see that if there are brackets on the score, that they touch or might even overlap with measure numbers on the first measure of a system. I'll write that up for fixing (task 2080).

The workaround for this would be to use braces rather than brackets, if it won't detract from your score.

ttfn,
Sherry

Hi Sherry,

I think being able to adjust the numbers would be an excellent enhancement to a wonderful program!

Thanks,
Andy
