If I remember well, it is first my work using non-melodic percussion.

Instruments:

3 Flutes, 3 Clarinets in Bb, 6 Bassoons, 6 Horns in F, 2 Trumpets, Timpani, Percussion, Organ, Violins I, Violins II, Violas, Cellos, Double Basses, Solo Viola, Solo Cello, Distant Piano, Distant Viola solo 1, Distant Viola solo 2 and Distant solo Cello.

C major is "main" key.
