Note alignment after inserting grace notes.

1 Attachment(s)
Hello,
I don't know how to line up notes after inserting grace notes. I have attached a notation file showing the question. It consists of only two measures in 2/4 time. The first measure shows four eighth notes in the bass and the treble clef. They line up neatly as they are supposed to be struck together. However, when I add a grace note to the first and third note in the treble clef this offsets these notes and then the eighth notes in the bass clef do not line up with the eighth notes in the treble cliff (even though they still should be struck together). How do I line up these notes?
Thanks

Re: Note alignment after inserting grace notes.

Hi,

I'd previously replied that there was not a way to fix this currently. There is a way to work around it, though, but it will affect the performance of the file slightly, but at least your sheet music will look right :)

The current problem occurs only when adding grace notes that borrow time from the right. To make the notes line up properly, delete the current grace notes, and then re-enter them, making sure that the "Grace note, borrowing time from the left" button is on. The notation will then line up properly, although it will sound slightly different than the other way round when playing the file back. The problem with grace notes borrowing time from the right is slated for fixing.

Hope this helps!
Sherry
