Repeat set of measures invisibly after example

1 Attachment(s)
This song has a recommended rhythm that repeats to the end of the song. Since this is a multi-page piece so it would be nice to be able to hide in the printout the rhythm staves after the example is given but hopefully, the rhythm will continue to play in performance mode. Can this be done?

[I uploaded and attached an image of the measures I want to repeat but they don't seem to be appearing in this post.]

Hi,

Yes, you can.

Go ahead and put in the rhythm staff, but do not include it in the part(s) you want for printing.

Then, add a second "dummy for printing" rythm staff that only has the desired rhythm for as many measures as you will have for the first system (line) of printed music Then, use "Staff -> Hide Resting Staves" and the remaining staves will be hidden on the printout. You may want to put the volume of the "dummy for printing" staff to 1 and/or set the Note Velocities to "1" to keep them from making any "echoing" sound during playback.

ttfn,
Sherry

I get it - very clever. Will do. Thanks.
