Practice Colors (Note/Highlights)

Hello!

If it is feasible and has not already been suggested, then I would like to suggest having the option to color/highlight notes various colors on the sheet music.

This is different from the playback/select highlight. In that, what I mean to say is... If I (for example) wrote a jazz line using an augmented scale, I'd like to be able highlight that particular section (let's say) green, or perhaps make those notes green. That, or I could highlight chord tones one color and tension tones another color. Even the beginning musician could use it simply to highlight accidentals.

In essence, I think this would be an invaluable tool (at the very least) in helping jazzers use Notation Composer to speed up their mental theory for improvisation (though it could also be handy for general harmonic analysis, as well).

Respectfully,
Xander Navarro

Hi Xander,

Thanks for your suggestion, and for some excellent examples of how a color option could be used. We do indeed have it on the "wish list", and will add your "vote" for that :)

Dear Rheinhold & Sherry.

Playing arranger keyboard also includes changing Registrations
quite often. I have quite some with about 20x. This could be a mix of changes using Footpedal to change a registration but also manual changes such as activating PAD's. These changes are activated quite accurately at times.

I draw these as text boxes above the staff, with with arrow to the particular point at the staff. these text boxes have different fill-colours made by markers indicating Pedal (orange) or manual actions (yellow).
In this way I avoid to overlook changes.

I have attached an example notation.

Would be great to be able to put such marks by Notation Composer.

Cheers Jaap Veneman.
