Notes display
New to this site. My apology if question and answer have been posted before.
When playing a recorded midi on my keyboard, and using its Score feature, the notes of the tune/melody are being displayed on the screen as well as the chords. As the screen is small, it can only show 2 bars at a time. But when this midi is played through a pc via a thumb drive, only the chords are shown, and the alphabetical notes (ie A to G) of the tune are being left out. Is there a feature that can be activated to show the alphabetical notes as well. Thanks, Shho |
Re: Notes display
Hi Shho,
If you're using Notation Musician or Notation Composer, then you can have the note pitches (eg. C D, etc.) displayed in the notehead. You can do this a couple of different ways, depending on what you want to see on the score. 1. Parts/Prepare Easy Notes - this method gives you a single melody line of enlarged notes with the note names. You can select to show chord names as well. 2. If you have multiple staves, or staves with chorded notes in them, you can use Format/Display pitch names in noteheads. You can change the size of the notes in Format/Font styles, and choose "Music symbols" in the lower left box. Set the size to whatever is comfortable for you. Enjoy :) Sherry |

Hi Sherry,
Was using N Player. Will check on Trial version of N Musician as advised. Thanks. Cheers, Shho |
