If you hear static, crackling, or other audio artifacts and are using the Notation Software Synth, please see the section on adjusting the buffer settings for tips on correcting this problem.
If you are using a different MIDI playback device, you will need to consult the user's manual for your device and/or the manual for your sound card. You can typically find these by visiting the manufacturer's website and searching for "user's manual" and the model or name of your device or sound card.
