Backing Up Your Purchased Copy of Notation Musician |

The backup procedures described here are intended to help you restore the Notation Musician software if it has been lost on your system, for example, due to a hard drive crash. In addition, you may make a copy of the Notation Musician software and install it on another computer in your household, for use by yourself or other members of your household. Please note that Notation Musician is protected by copyright law, and installing it on unauthorized machines is punishable by law, and a nagging conscience. If you enjoy using Notation Musician and want to share that joy with your friends, then please consider either purchasing a copy for them as a gift, or encourage them to purchase their own copy. Such purchases ensure the further development efforts that improve our products, and make it even easier for you to make music. If you have purchased Musician on CD-ROM, then there is probably no need for you to back up Musician. However, if you have a CD-Write drive, then you might want to make a copy of Musician for backup purposes. If you have purchased the full version of Musician, and it was delivered to you via Internet download instead of on a CD-ROM, then follow one of the procedures below.
If you do not recall the download directory, then:
Musician*.exe The search will find a file named similarly to Musician20Setup.exe
Also note that you can always redownload your purchased software by visiting our website at www.notation.com/Redownload.php and following the instructions there. You will always receive the most up to date installation file to which you are entitled. |
