Creating a New Song from the Clipboard

 Go to the previous page in the Table of Contents.  Go to the next page in the Table of Contents.

Sometimes it is useful to create an entirely new song file, borrowing some portion of an existing song. This is easy to do using Composer's clipboard.

prcarrow To create a new song by borrowing a portion of an existing song:

1.Select the region in the current song that you wish to use for the new song file. See Selecting and Editing Regions of a Score.
2.Choose the New Song from Clipboard command in the File menu.
Go to the previous page in the Table of Contents.  Go to the next page in the Table of Contents.
