Advancing to the Next (or Previous) Rehearsal Mark

Go to the previous page in the Table of Contents.  Go to the next page in the Table of Contents.

If you have added rehearsal marks to the score, then you can practice from one rehearsal mark to the next as many times as you want, and then with a simple command, advance to the next rehearsal mark. Using the practice commands described here, you can practice from one rehearsal mark to the next one in the score.

If you wish to set up a practice loop that crosses over one or more intermediate rehearsal marks, then you can identify the starting and ending rehearsal marks, as described in Setting Up Practice Loops.

prcarrow To advance to the next (or previous) rehearsal mark and start practicing:

1.In the Perform menu, choose the command Set Practice Loop at Next Rehearsal Mark or Set Practice Loop at Previous Rehearsal Mark command.

Type "qpnr" or "qppr" for Quick Practice Next Rehearsal Mark or Quick Practice Previous Rehearsal Mark.

If you have enabled Composer's Pitch-to-Command feature, while holding down the "trigger key" on your music keyboard, play the second Bb above Middle C to advance to the next rehearsal mark, or the second Ab above Middle C to go to the previous rehearsal mark. 2.Choose the Start Practice command in the Perform menu.
