Default The older treat topic on Final

The older treat topic on Finale mentions that the only way to opent a .mus file in Composer is to convert .mus to midi first. Is there a product that'll do that conversion without having to buy a full Finale product?

that thread also spoke of impoting and exporting in MusicXML from Composer. What has happened to that?
