If you find a chance to hear Oscar Levant play this, do. I think Gershwin even thought Levant was the better pianist.
Best wishes and a good George to you all,

Default Here's my most of: Prelud

Here's my most of:
Prelude 1 by Gershwin, to complete this set.
You can tell that the Spanish Prelude, above, was evolved from the MIDI. It's been awhile and I'm not sure about the roots of this nugget. Prelude II by Gershwin was what I evolved from the sheet music. It still has some special syncopations, but is straight from the printed page. If I find a special Gershwin clip of music, I'll try and share it here.

Howdy Michael,

Thanks for sharing these Gershwin nuggets with us - did you enter these via mouse or did you record them into Composer? Either way, I enjoyed them immensely!

The Gershwin nuggets started with the sheet music and I entered them by mouse into Composer. This is a great way to meet the composer by using Composer!
