Default Re: Anybody use a Ketron SD2?

A couple years ago, I bought this module on eBay. I was quite awkward to set up with divers softwares. Since I had the Soundblaster Audigy Pro soundcard installed, I simply copied the best sounds (about 80% of it) from this module and then sold the module again with some loss of course.
Yet, it was still a bargain price I had to pay to get my hands onto some descent voices.
I used SampleRobot to create truly perfect Sf2 soundfonts from the SD2; all automatically. My musical hearing is pretty fussy and demanding, when it comes to musical sounds. Thus, I had to do a bit of trial & error to get the settings and samplings right.
Apropos... "musical hearing": Late organist Klaus Wunderlich mentioned it in his letter, after he auditioned my musical creativity (of whistling to music). Here's link for you, too: http://www.live-styler.de/home/images/jjj-DEMO.wma
