exporting midi files
when i export a midi file i don`t seem to be able to move the chords at the same time am i doing something wrong as i have thought this is somthing i shoud be able to do is that correct thanks fo any help regards jazzband

Hi,
The MIDI file format does not store chord name information, though some folks work around this by using Lyrics to enter chord names. The chord names that Notation Software products use are "attached" to the notes, and will change if you transpose the music. MIDI file format does not support these types of chord names. That's why the chord names don't show up in an exported .mid file. ttfn, Sherry
