Keyboard to Notation Software bamboozled

I want to be able to play my keyboard, as a piano, and see the left hand and right hand appear on my computer screen. All efforts to achieve this, so far have failed. The Keyboard is properly connected to the Computer (notation software). Are there any SIMPLE instructions to achieve this?

To see a nice simple explanation, please see Help/Users Guide, and use the Index to look up "recording, two-hand".

To easily select both staves for recording, just press the Shift key and then click the Staff Select button for each staff.
