Default Three pieces for three violas

I. Allegro
II. Andante
IV. Allegretto

Enjoy! PS: It is amazing to hear it with some good virtual viola!

Hi,

I did as you suggested, and used Garritan Personal Orchestra 4, and used the three different viola "players" for each staff you have here. It is amazing how good sounds can make the performance even more enjoyable. I really like these three pieces, as well as your other compositions. Your enthusiasm for weaving these instruments' parts together is quite obvious

I'm curious as to whether you play with an ensemble, and are composing for your group, or if you're just enjoying composing for various instruments that you don't play. I do some of both, myself For example, I'll never be a violinist, but it's fun for me to use violin in some of the backing tracks that I put together. Other times I write up songs that I or my group will use for a performance. It's always interesting to hear what others are doing, as well.

Thanks for sharing your enjoyable pieces with us!
Sherry

Can you send me MP3 of my pieces with Garritan violas? (I am especially curious about Allegretto and Adagio - I am attaching Adagio not. file in this post.)

I am not playing on any string instrument. I just love chamber music.

As for organizing these parts, I tried to give some work for each viola

PS: I am very glad that my compositions are liked.

Hi,

I'd be happy to. I've just made one, but it's 5 Mb. If your email program can handle that, I'll email it to you. If you'd prefer a different method, let me know.

I did not do any tweaking of the file at all. I just upped the Mod wheel (which in GPO acts as a dynamics controller) to a constant level for all three staves, and let it go at that.

ttfn,
Sherry
