Tumbling Tumbleweeds Duet
This month, two songs of the American Southwest are featured. “Tumbling Tumbleweeds” was written by Bob Nolan in the early 1930s, originally as “Tumbling Tumble Leaves”. Legendary western movie hero, Gene Autry, had the song retitled and the lyrics rewritten for the movie, “Tumbling Tumbleweeds”, which was sung with the “Sons of the Pioneers”.
If you would like to see the lyrics or the chords, you can use Composer commands to display them: for lyrics use qsl; for chords use qscn. Ralph R. Rayner |
