Default Text in block border

I often manually add tekst or letter/number of a letter in a square/rectangle box above a staff. This is to indicate where I need to switch of change things like registration of accompaniment or switch a particarl effect. Also I use this sometimes for a short note.

It would be great to have this added as feature, the same as the R for adding rehearsal remark, but than freely placed. (The R rehearselmark is at fixed locations). Sometimes I must add an Arrow to it to indicate precisely at which note to change registration of add an effect.

Hi Jaap,

If I understand your request properly, I think you're asking for something like the capability to have a Free Text block "boxed". You could add the text, then click a toggle button to have the text boxed or not, and you can place it where ever you want it.

Is that correct? If not, please let me know what other "tweaks" you envision.

For now you could just add that text as Free Text and manually draw a box around it.

ttfn,
Sherry

Dear Cherry.

Yes I mean text boxed, freely placed.
I use this frequently to indicate the changes in Keyboard registrations.
The A, B, C, D stands for Main variations of the accompaniment,
but also Break, Intro 1,2,3 Ending 1,2,3, MP1,2,3,4 (=multipad)
Sync Start are indicated.

I have a simple example added of a purchased music sheet.
But often my sheets are more complicated and Registration buttons
indicated instead. (R1, R2 etc)
I also use transparant markers to indicate manual action (Yellow)
and registration change (orange)

Using coloured text and boxes is my wish from longtime ago in one of the early releases. But using a marker does well for this boxes.
