"The Last Waltz" was written by Barry Mason and Les Reed in 1967 and was a major hit for popular singer, Engelbert Humperdinck. This arrangement follows the way that Englebert performed this song fairly closely, with the exception of the intro, which closely aligns with the "feel" of the song. The (2x only) direction in measures 16 & 17 tells you to play these notes only the second time through the repeat. This is because of the change in the lyrics at this point, and there's no easy way to tell Notation Composer to do this. The first and third time through this section, you should play the tied half-note in measure 16 as a tied dotted half-note to fill the open space.
