Hi guys,

David, thanks for confirming that for Ralph.

This is not a "q" command shortcut because it is specific for the palette (Notes/Ties) and only applies to the item that is selected, in this case the tie. In other words, you have to have a tie selected (which switches the palette tools) for the "ct" shortcut to effect any change to the tie.

Just a note that these types of shortcuts can be displayed in the tool tips if you hover your mouse over the buttons in any given tool palette.
