Default Help With Adding Flats and Sharps

Hi Music Community,

I am having trouble adding flats and sharps to the whole measure. If I select the measure and click on flat it is placing multiple flats. I have attached an image that shows the accidental I am trying to enter. If I select the note and click on "flat" icon, it is placing the flat just for that note. That is obvious I think. what if I want it for all the notes in that particular pitch?

Most likely this is a silly question. I tried reading the guide but probably keep missing it.

Thank you

Rajan

Hi Rajan,

In the attached screen shot I'm only seeing one note (an 8th note at the very end of the system).
I do, however, see a lot of chord names. Are these what you are referring to?

ttfn,
Sherry

p.s. I'm attaching a short file that looks exactly like the screenshot that I'm seeing. You can click on anything there (note, chord names, text, etc.) to see how it's done.

FlatSample.not

Hope this helps!
Sherry

Hi Sherry,

Thank you so much. In response to your first posting...
Yes I just top staff and uploaded it with one note. I just wanted some one see the flats that I want to insert. Yes the piece is from sheet music for a Church song and it was or guitar. I see you have another posting. I will try your recommendations out.

Thank you

Rajan
