Default staff setup problem

Hi, I installaed 2.6.3, and I have a problem doing:
Staff -> setup -> then change a staff description (the first column) <- click OK

then I come back in staff -> setup i have the old description.
I looked the forum but i didn't find any issue similar ...
I have Windows 7 always updated
Any idea ?
Thanks
Marco

Default Re: staff setup problem

Hi, Marco:

There is indeed a problem with making certain changes in the staff setup and not having them be recognized.

The work-around is to use the Staff Setup icon to the left of each staff in the Window view, where you can make almost all of the changes you can in the menu-ed Staff Setup box, although only on one staff at a time.

I think the only changes you can't make with the Window view Staff Setup icon are Staff Show/Hide, Staff In Part selection and staff ordering (Move Up/Down). However, all of those do work in the menu-ed Staff Setup dialogue box.

Hope that helps.

David

Hi Marco,

Sorry for the bother - the names for the staves can only be changed for each staff using its Staff Setup button. That bug is getting fixed for the next release.

ttfn,
Sherry

Ok, thanks for the response.
Previous release it worked fine ... (no problem, I'm also a technologist...)
