Default Turning on Wine

I am running Mac OS 10.11. I have downloaded Wine and Xquartz. Xquartz is installed, not sure about Wine. I think so as it shows up in the Applications folder. Questions:

What is the test for having successfully installed Wine?

It looks like I need to execute wine.exe every time I activate the Mac. Is this done with a re-boot? How do I do I make this happen? There is something in the instructions about a "log on" or "log in"---Sounds like a Windows thing.

Thanks

Default Re: Turning on Wine

Hi,

Wine can run as a "background service" so that it starts when you start up your Mac.

Please see our Mac Installation page for details on setting up Wine and installing Notation Software products on Mac.

Let us know if you have any further questions or problems.

ttfn,
Sherry
