Since everone, so far, has told me I have totally lost it with this one, I decided to call it "Fred Has Left The Building". If they write a movie about troops from the Forgeign Legion searching through the desert for a swimming pool, I'll send them this>

Howdy Fred,
Very cool piece! We'll nickname it Fred's Fusion - sort of a Tower of Power meets Mannheim Steamroller piece Ok, so now we need a "fusion" genre in the "Share your music" section here. Mr. Developer, oh Mr. Developer.... You never cease to amaze me Fred - you've got a variety of styles under your belt! ttfn, Sherry |

Hi Fred,
You've outdone yourself with this one. You manage to keep a sense of mystery throughout and the drama promised by the trill in the low strings is well fulfilled. I'm particularly struck by moments such as that in measures 39, 40 with the tension created by the dissonance and its unwinding in the measures immediately following. For some reason I wondered how this would sound sandwiched between Funky Salsa and Funky Tonk, so I listened to them in that order. It makes a kind of slow movement. Do I sense a larger composition a-building here? all best, mgj |

Hi MG,
"I'm particularly struck by moments such as that in measures 39, 40 with the tension created by the dissonance and its unwinding in the measures immediately following". Good heavens! Somebody has actually made sense of this piece! When I play it back around here, I get looks from everybody like they are all ready to call the guys with the straightjackets. Thank you! Cheers... Hi Sherry,

Hi Sherry,
Thanks Sherry, Fred's Fusion sounds good! I see the fit. quote: You never cease to amaze me Fred - you've got a variety of styles under your belt! You happened onto my secret mission. I'm trying to see how many genres I can do and can't do. So far, Classical is not going well at all and yet that is where I have had all of my early experience, even winning a full scholarship to an expensive private school. Creating it, however, is another matter. Don't be too surprised if you hear a heavy metal piece sometime in the future! Best, Fred |
