Default The Battle Hymn of the Republic Duet

"The Battle Hymn of the Republic" is a well-known patriotic song that spread in popularity around the time of the American Civil War. It seems the melody had a number of different sources, but the familiar "John Brown's Body" used the same melody. Words for "The Battle Hymn of the Republic" were written by Julia Ward Howe.

This arrangement plays through the two sections three times to accommodate the lyrics, if anyone would like to sing along with you. To see the lyrics, click on the Text Tab; then the L icon (Lyrics); then the Eyeglasses icon.
