Default Hello Notation Musician and Co

Hello Notation Musician and Composer Users,

The first release of the free Notation Player (version 2.0.4) is now available at www.notation.com/DownloadNotationPlayer.htm

You can share your Notation .not files with other musicians, who can use the free Notation Player to play, display, and print your fully notated and annotated scores.

Here's a new feature in Notation Player 2.0: If your Notation .not includes instrument and vocal parts, then the Notation Player user can select that part for viewing and printing.

The free Notation Player also includes Notation Musician's and Composer's central feature that transcribes any MIDI (.mid) or Karaoke (.kar) file to sheet music. But Notation Player does not include the score and sound editing capabilities of Notation Musician and Composer.

I probably should officially declare that this is a beta release of Notation Player rather than a final release. There are some corners of the program that have not been fully tested. However, Notation Player is basically a very well-tested part of Notation Musician and Composer, namely the transcription. The Notation Player Users Guide is mostly up-to-date, except for screen shots that still refer to the old MidiNotate Player 1.1.

If you have any comments or bug reports for this Notation Player 2.0.4 release, please add them at this Notation Software Support Forum » Your Overall Impressions and How You Use Notation Musician or Composer » Developer's Announcements - Discussions » First release (2.0.4) Notation Player 2.0

Cheers
-- Mark
