Recently used files list not properly updated.

When I try to open a non existing file from menu "File" - recently used files list it disappears after an appropriate error message - that's correct.

But when I do the same from the "Options" page "recently opened files" list the invalid files persist. But I think they should disappear then here as well.

There seems to be also no x-sync, means if there is an invalid file detected in any of these choices it should be removed in both lists...

It's not a big deal, just not quite ok...

I've added this to the bug list, with a relatively low-to-medium priority. I do agree this is undesirable.
