Howdy,

There is currently not a direct copy/paste as the score is not text, nor is it a graphic file. We do have "Export as graphic" on the to-do list, though. In the meantime, using the method you've described (or any other screen capture method such as SnagIt) is the best way to get your score into a word processor or other application.
