Default Re: PDF exports as a black screen

Hi Duncan,

This may be due to a "leftover" setting from the 3.0.2 installation.

To correct this, you can use the Registry Editor (regedit.exe) to change the settings.

  1. Click the Windows Start button in the lower left of your screen.
  2. Type "regedit.exe" in the Search box. "regedit.exe" should show up in the results field. Click on it.
  3. In the left-hand panel, navigate to Computer / HKEY_CURRENT_USER / Software / Notation / Musician /PageSetupOptions / PDFCompressionFac
  4. Double-click the "PDFCompression" on the right-hand side and change the value to "3". Click "Ok" to save the change.
Try it now. If that doesn't do the trick, then run regedit.exe again as above, but change the PDFforcePngMethod setting to "1".

Here's a screenshot to show you what the regedit setup will look like (this is for Composer - yours will be for Musician).

Please let me know if you have any further questions or problems.

ttfn,
Sherry
