Well, because it's a piece for a concept album I've been working on that is very much in a rock vein, even though this one isn't.

The album started out as one song and has grown to 14 pieces that, at the moment, are an unwieldy 1 hour 14 minutes in total. Now to start trimming.

Anyway, I wrote this one yesterday as a replacement for a longer piece that I decided isn't working. Just noodling on the guitar and the themes started to come out, so I developed it.

Very pretty, I think.

Do, please, view the Guitar part in Page mode, as there are lots of notation things that only look right in Page mode. A piece to make Mark's notation mad heart glad.
