"Take Five" was written in 1959 by Paul Desmond, the alto saxophonist with the Dave Brubeck Quartet. This jazz duet is quite challenging, but don't be discouraged. Playing along with Notation will help you learn the advanced time signature, 5/4 time. It is written in standard notation, but the underlying feel is easy swing, and the Notation products will help you get the feel of the music as you play along.

We hope you enjoy this duet.
