Happy Birthday with Variations
This is an occasional piece, with one more variation to be inserted as soon as the birthday girl chooses which instrument she would like featured in it, and that of course will become Jane's Variation.
My problem is the guitar. I can find references easily enough on the Net, but it seems there are so many with so many possible tunings, that I am not sure the acoustic bass will play the entire range. I'd appreciate verification that there is a single standard tuning that will work. I haven't transposed the sax, yet, but the guitar is
transposed.
