Hi Shelby,

It is not currently possible to add notes using only the computer keyboard. The current methods are:

  • Mouse point and click
  • "Live" recording (probably the most popular method) via MIDI instrument, either with a metronome or "metronomeless" and using the ReBar feature.
  • "Step time" recording via MIDI instrument
