Since the topic of the original thread (MIDI controllers) won't help much, I'm moving this thread to "General music questions" area. You also may want to try some of the ubiquitous guitar player forums out there. Les Pauls should be a well-known among them, and I'm sure you could get better help. Unless we've got some "closet rockers" here (which is definitely always a possibility
