Way back when I worked in research, one of my graduate students (who was also a musician) had an uncanny knack for remembering orchestral works. It was great - I could come in, hum him a few lines from something, and he would nail it every time. He could even tell me if I'd hummed it in the right key. I never checked him on that, though
