I use Neuratron's "little brother" Photoscore MIDI Lite myself, and also occasionally get the "tied note that goes on forever", and I think this is what you are alluding to. For my scores, it's typically easy enough to find but it sounds like you're wading through a lot. The Piano Roll view probably isn't going to help you a ton because you have all those chords and voices, and it's not always easy to decipher the notes that should be held versus the ones that were incorrectly tied and exported from Photoscore (that's not a diss on them - I'm actually pretty impressed with the quality of the OCR in the Lite package!)
There is a tool that may be helpful for you - GNMidi. It's a no-frills tool, but can do some pretty cool things like look for all the long notes (I'm not sure how you change that parameter) or short notes, or remove hanging notes.
When I used "Remove hanging notes" on your .mid file, it only removed 2 notes.
Half a sixpence Henek-hanging_notes.midAgain, I'm not sure how that parameter is determined, nor how to or if it can be changed.
I also used the "Look for long notes" command, and it gave me more notes. See the attached .txt file - you'll need to divide the "location" number by the number of ticks per measure, and there are 480 ticks per quarter note, so you can use that and the meter to determine what measure those notes are in.
Half a sixpence Henek_long_notes.txt Again, I'm not sure if you can change the definition of "long note", nor how you'd do it, but at least it's a start.

I find it immensely helpful in analyzing files that I find on the internet if they're "weird" for any reason (some folks are more savvy than others at creating good MIDI files
).
Hopefully some of the above is helpful, or at least gets you headed in the right direction.
I'm also curious - it looks like you're using the full-bore Photoscore. Are you pretty happy with the results from multi-part scans? If you'd prefer to discuss that aspect privately, just shoot me a message - whatever you're comfortable with.
