Default The Lonely Goatherd Duet

"The Lonely Goatherd" was written by Richard Rogers and Oscar Hammerstein III in 1959 for the hit Broadway Musical, "The Sound of Music".

This song is one of many written by this fantastic musical team. They collaborated on quite a number of successful Broadway shows.

This song is a bit technically complex, as the players are asked to "yodel", by simulating the human voice yodeling in measures 3, 7 20, and 24, etc. AND, the somewhat difficult arpeggio performed by Julie Andrews in measure 48.

If you would like to see the lyrics or the chords, you can use Composer commands to display them: for lyrics use qsl; for chords use qscn.
