Part List Selection Changes Octave

In a score based on the Recorders SATB template, selecting the soprano part from the part list results in lowering that part by an octave compared to viewing the part in the Conductor's Score.

I...

Re: Using stacatto to control playback

Ah, of course. That explains why the search turned up zilch. I let the staccato button's tool tip lead me astray. It reads, "stacatto (dot .)". Perhaps "Never trust a man who has only one way to...

Thumbs up Re: Using stacatto to control playback

Using stacatto to control playback

In the user guide and help files, I can't figure out where to find a discussion of using stacatto to control the articulation in playback. Searching both documents for the term turns up no matches,...

Thumbs up Re: Multiple Tunes in One File?

Ah, excellent news. I'm envisioning a single .not file documenting every melodeon ever made. Well, perhaps not, but then again, why not?

Re: Multiple Tunes in One File?

Exactly, thanks for the explain. I'm clearly venturing beyond the intended use -- like hammering with a wrench -- but so far Notation Composer is remarkably rich in features and comes close to what I...

Thumbs up Re: How to number the first measure?

I hadn't thought of that approach. I suppose I could create a template (or the like) with a 1 in the right location to avoid having to add the free text for the first measure for each keyboard.

How to number the first measure?

Is it possible to number the first measure? Enabling every measure for Frequency of Measure Numbers does not display a 1 for the first measure though it does show a 2 for the second measure.

Why...

Multiple Tunes in One File?

I am documenting the keyboard layout of various melodeons (aka button accordions, diatos, squeezeboxes) and can't figure out how to use a single .not file to contain the measures that display each...

Enter Underlined Text Characters

Anyone know of a way to enter text in which some characters are underlined and others are not, like: G G g or 3 4 3? I'm using Notation Composure 2.6.3.

In French diatonic accordion tabulature,...
