New Notation 3.0.3 issues

I'm having more issues with 3.0.3 under Windows 10 than I did with 2.63

Edit Repeat Instructions was always frustratingly tedious to use. Now, it's way worse. Why you folks can't add a Multi Line...

How can I add 2 more seats to my 3.0 license?

I got the first 2 licenses fine with the upgrade.

How can I add 2 more licenses to my existing base license, for a reasonable cost.

Re: About 150 MIDI Fiddle Tunes converted to Notation

I just refreshed the directory. There are now about 250 :)

Note that a lot of files have multiple versions and some might be left on say just playing Melody or Just playing Accompaniment.

So...

Re: I think Notation Composer is underpriced undersold

The case you described is a classic usage.

But another common usage especially for practicing, which is what I suspect most users use Notation for is have having multiple versions of a...

Re: I think Notation Composer is underpriced undersold

Ok, I don't think I saw that repeats option, I'll try it.

As far Muted staffs just make it an option next to "Write out repeats..."

"Write out muted staffs..." and default it on.

I've been using Notation Composer for almost 4 years now.

I still consider myself a Novice Musician.

But I'm not a novice when it comes to computers. I've been a developer since 1980 and...

Re: Moderate Latency with MIDI Keyboard

I thought perhaps this was buried in the registry or in C:\Windows\INF and you didn't want to delve into that (which I perfectly understand). But once I found it, which was no easy task, it's pretty...

Re: Moderate Latency with MIDI Keyboard

Yes, LoopBe30 worked but I was curious if I had something setup wrong and tried LoopBe1 again. I also thought it wouldn't hurt being free as well if it worked :)

Re: Moderate Latency with MIDI Keyboard

LoopBe1 MIDI Feedback Errors are back.

The reason it worked is tune dependent.

I went back to the first tune I was playing with and MIDI Feedback errors immediately returned.

I tried...

Re: Moderate Latency with MIDI Keyboard

I reinstalled LoopBe1 and magically got it working without the MIDI loopback error. I swear I set it up the same way.

It seems the KeyBoard wants to always mimic one of the Instruments (Voice) of...

Re: Moderate Latency with MIDI Keyboard

Sherry you don't need ASIO4ALL if your sound card supports ASIO. ASIO4ALL is a bandaide for sound cards that don't have ASIO support.

I did everything you said and it mostly works.

Except I...

I did uncheck "Echo Midi Input To Output" and it did not fix it.

I change Instruments all the time with the Speaker Icon in Notation. But if I'm not recording what "Staff" (Speaker Icon) is there...

I have it working.

I did not need ASIO4ALL as expected.

I had problems with LoopBe1 detecting MIDI Feedback. I googled around for that problem and other people think they were getting false...

Re: Ability to import MusicXML and/or ABC

People get confused on the purpose and needs of Notation Composer for different users.

It's not to just SEE the notes and print them. It's to PLAY along AND SEE the notes at the same time.

Re: Add option to display Do-Re-Mi under or over notes

Thanks. Just thinking about this. Since you already support Lyrics I think you could leverage that. By just creating a "Wizard" that generates Do-Re-Mi Lryics from the notes.

Keep in mind 99% of work I do in the tutorial. Which takes about 5-10 minutes on each tune. Is restoring structure that was lost in converting the tune from ABC to MIDI.

I have a feature request...
